If you would like to live in the country and be 5 minutes from the city, Carlisle is the place to live. It is a lovely, quaint village, with a population of 2,363 population (2011). It is central to both London and Toronto. And if you are not off to the big city then just stick to the bicycle, its all you need in a town like Carlisle. Be sure to stop in at the corner store for one of their amazing butter tarts!
Once your week is over, stay close to home and unwind on the weekend at the Carlisle Golf and Country Club.
